I must admit that I didn't read this book much I stopped reading it for good after I was recommended to be a good colleague and to fill up the paper in the printer if I finish it. WOW great advise!
This book covers etiquette basics for the workplace in less than 200 pages. I've read a number of etiquette books, so I have to admit I didn't find that many new concepts in the pages. I did enjoy reading it as a quick "brush-up" on things I tend to forget, though (like not trying to finish other people's sentences!!!). Gave this as a gift to my 21 yr old Goddaughter. She read many passages out loud to us and absolutely loved it. Very helpful for young up and comings that don't know much about the corporate world and the do's and don'ts associated with success in the workplace. Lots are also helpful in just regular day to day dealings with people too. Great book for anyone that wants to make a good impression the first time out of the gate!
Great for a teen at that first office job.This book is really geared toward an indoor, office workplace, although the habits and recommendations are important for anyone working on their interpersonal skills, in any area.The tips boil down to:+ Keep your emotions under control+Be more formal than others+Be discreet and prudentGreat advice!Good sections on body language and how to respond to a sudden shift in body language. Very good section on expressing condolences and how to leave a job.

This book seems to cover a lot of basic items. It doesn't not get very specific by providing any suggestions such as where to get a nice pen, which it recommends having. It contains a suggestion of bringing something to do while waiting for an interview, but does not provide any detail for recommended activities.
